The iKNOW Under 3 Project

Researchers at University of Birmingham aimed to assess the feasibility of the iKNOW intervention and the acceptability of using the i-RISC algorithm in clinical settings.

The iKNOW project is a program that aims to give parents/caregivers of children aged 3 and under information about why behaviours that challenge may emerge, signs to look out for and where to look out for help.

It comprises six modules which are delivered at two levels: healthcare professional led workshops or remote video learning. Both groups are also asked to take part in a focus group discussion, and will also receive an individualised feedback report, summarising their behaviour and the potential effectiveness of the intervention material on behavioural outcomes.
